Well we found the hotel we stayed at 20 years ago when we came to NYC with High Street on a mission trip! It has a new name but was pretty much the same ... as best we could remember!

You really couldn't see much at Ground was a huge hole under construction and they had a big covered fence around it. But it was a little eerie to walk around it and see all the huge buildings around it still standing. What it must have been like to be in one of those buildings and watch this all take place.

Central park was beautiful and we couldn't believe how big it was. We walked to it Sunday night around midnight which didn't make Lisa very happy (it really wasn't smart, but oh well) we went back the next morning when it was a little bit safer.....and we made a stop at the today show.....which was fun.

It was a great weekend and so much fun to be able to pull off a surprise for Lisa....can't wait to see what she will do for me on our 22nd Anniversary next year........!!

Well, Jen and I stayed in Hotel Penn (formerly Penta) and it was awful. Much worse than 20 years ago!
